Wooden Board of Mixed Cheeses, Pear and Olives
A relaxed cheese board with contrasts in every corner: mild sliced and cubed yellow cheeses, a creamy wedge of blue, crisp pear fans, a bowl of green olives and vines of cherry tomatoes. Add a little mustard on the side and it is ready for a lazy weekend lunch.

-
Take the cheeses out of the fridge 45 minutes before serving so their flavors open up.
-
Toss the pear slices gently with lemon juice to keep them from browning, then fan them at one end of a long wooden board.
-
Set the blue cheese wedge beside the pear and overlap the thin slices of mild cheese down the center.
-
Pile the Gouda cubes in a neat cluster and stand the Gouda wedge upright at the far end.
-
Place the olives in a small glass bowl on the board and lay the tomato vines alongside, with the mustard in a dish nearby.
-
Provide a separate knife for the blue cheese and serve.
Tap a step to mark it done.
