Glazed Brioche Cheeseburger Sliders

Small, thick beef patties get a hard sear and a slice of melting cheddar, then nestle into glossy sesame brioche buns with frilly lettuce and a pickle slice. Crispy seasoned potato wedges on the side make these sliders a game day favorite or a fun family dinner.

Method 5 steps

  1. Heat the oven to 425 F. Toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder and salt and roast for 30 to 35 minutes, flipping once, until crisp and golden.

  2. Divide the beef into 8 portions and gently form patties slightly wider than the buns. Season both sides well with salt and pepper.

  3. Brush the cut sides of the buns with melted butter and toast in a skillet until golden, about 1 minute.

  4. Sear the patties in a very hot skillet for 2 minutes until a deep crust forms, flip, add a cheese slice and cover for 1 to 2 minutes until the cheese drapes over the edges.

  5. Stir together the ketchup and mayonnaise and spread it on the buns. Layer lettuce, pickle and patty, close with the tops and serve with the wedges.
