Roasted in small batches to a rich medium brown, these beans balance sweetness and body with notes of milk chocolate, toasted almond and a caramel finish. The roast is gentle enough to keep some brightness, which makes it versatile for pour-over, drip machines and French press, and it also works as a mellow espresso. Grind just before brewing for the fullest aroma. For pour-over, start with 22 g of coffee to 350 g of water just off the boil. Keep the beans in an airtight container away from light and heat, and use within a month of opening.
